Agarwood

Agarwood

Resin-saturated heartwood from the Aquilaria tree. Dense, dark and slow to form.

Amomum Villosum

Ribbed brown fruits of the Amomum shrub, dried whole. Warm and resinous, with a peppery edge.

Angelica Dahurica

A paler, starchier root than its sinensis cousin, sliced into thin white rounds.

Angelica Sinensis

Root sliced across the grain and dried. Pale, fibrous, with a sweet celery-like edge.

Borneol

Crystalline resin from the Dryobalanops camphor tree. Clear and sharp against the heavier woods.

Fritillaria Bulb

Small pale bulbs of the Himalayan Fritillaria, dried whole. Cool and faintly sweet against the woods.

Cassia Twig

Young twigs of the cassia tree, cut and dried whole. Woody, warm and faintly sweet.

Frankincense

Sun-hardened resin tapped from the Boswellia tree. Amber tears that turn glassy with age.

Hainan Qinan

The resin-saturated grade of agarwood from Hainan, cut from the softest oil pockets. Green-black and dense.

Jasmine

Buds picked at dusk, when they are still closed, and dried overnight.

Lavender

Buds harvested at first bloom and dried slowly. The one botanical among the woods and resins.

Mugwort

Silver-backed leaves cut in early summer. Dry, herbal and slightly bitter.

Questions

What are the beads made of?

The beads in every piece are hand-rolled from the same shortlist — agarwood and sandalwood as the base, joined by resins and botanicals such as frankincense, borneol, cassia twig or lavender depending on the blend. Some designs add a stone bead. Most products list the full formula on the page, so you can see exactly what is in the one you are buying.
Which bead size should I choose?

Five Elements is offered in 8, 10, 12 and 14 mm; the other blends come in a single size. Smaller beads sit closer to the wrist and read as more discreet, while larger beads sit heavier and show more of the grain — 10 mm and 12 mm are the middle of the range. Measure your wrist with a tape or a strip of paper before ordering.
How do I look after it?

Keep it away from water, perfume and lotion — these are porous natural woods and resins, and moisture is what damages them. Take it off before showering or swimming, wipe it with a dry cloth, and store it out of direct sunlight when you are not wearing it.
Will the scent fade?

The scent of natural wood and resin is subtle up close rather than something that fills a room, and it softens with wear as the surface oils settle. Warmth from your skin brings it forward again. Keeping the beads dry and out of the sun is what preserves them longest.
How much is shipping, and when will it arrive?

Standard shipping is free, with no minimum order. Orders are prepared for dispatch within 1–3 business days, and most arrive within 7–15 days of being placed. Tracking is emailed to you as soon as the parcel leaves — it can take a few days to begin showing scan updates, which is normal. If your order has not arrived within 30 days, email support@qwiexllc.com and we will refund or reship it, your choice.
Will I be charged customs or import fees?

No. The price you pay at checkout is the full price. If any import duty or customs charge is ever levied on your parcel at delivery, forward us the notice at support@qwiexllc.com and we will reimburse it in full.
What if I want to return it?

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Items need to be unused, in their original packaging, and you will need your order number. Email support@qwiexllc.com before sending anything back — returns posted without prior approval cannot be processed. If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery.
